If you are anything like me SHOES are your BIGGEST weakness. I tend to stick with classic styles that won't go in and out of style but it is super fun to explore trends and mix them into your wardrobe. That is why I thought it would be interesting to research the trending shoe styles for this comping Fall/Winter season and provide some inspiration for you all. Please see the YouTube video that corresponds with this post. The link will be provided below.

Moving on to the Shoe trends that I discovered during my research of what was being seen on the runways as well as in retail stores!

1. Emerald Green

Emerald green seemed to be a very popular color for this coming season. Because it is a statement in itself I thought this simple silhouette was a perfect combination! It adds so much fun to a monochromatic look!

2. Floral

Floral printed shoes were all over the run way, in of course a very exaggerated fashion. This was the most toned down option I could find on Amazon and I'm actually pretty into it. These booties would look great with a monochromatic look or a very simple outfit.

3. White Shoe

The white shoe seemed to come back around a couple of years ago but it is here to stay! It seems to be trending again this year, taking the 'no white after labor day' rule to the trash. I have two options here for you!

The first pair are these western inspired white bootie. There is sooo much 'YASS' to these shoes. They make a statement to any boho outfit or make any simple outfit so much more interesting!

The second pair of white shoes I picked up are these stiletto white booties. Totally different style but can make any simple dress look much more stylish and different. These aren't necessarily appropriate for my lifestyle since I am constantly chasing a toddler around. BUT for those who are into flirty heels, these are a great option.

4. Mary Jane

This trend took me by surprise for this year. I chose a more modern take on the classic Mary Jane with the silver studded detail on the strap and the pointed toe. These are very comfortable and easy for my pregnant self to walk in (for a limited time of course).

5. Buckles

I noticed a lot of grunge style shoes on the runway with tons of buckles! That particular trend doesn't fit well into my wardrobe, so I opted for these taupe, buckled booties. They are more toned down and the neutral color works well with most of items in terms of color palette.

6. Animal Print

Of course, animal print is all the rage right now. Animal print is being duplicated on ALL types of apparel in any way shape or form. And animal print shoes are definitely not the exception. I picked up two options to show you all.

Snake skin is a trend that I am staying FAR AWAY from. Not because I'm not into it, but because of my irrational fear of snakes. The print sort of makes my skin crawl. However, it does look very chic and stylish when worn the right way. Because of its neutral color palette, snake skin can be worn so many different ways. I love the side slits of these booties for a little ankle peep show.

These cheetah print booties have a little bit of a furry feel to them without being over the top. Like the previous pair, I love the side slits on this shoe! These are also so neutral and can be a great addition to your wardrobe.
